LingoCam AI (“we”, “our”, or “us”) helps you turn real-world scenes into learnable scene cards. This Privacy Policy explains what happens to data when you use the LingoCam AI iOS app.

2. No account registration

LingoCam AI does not require an account, sign-in, or third-party login. There is no cloud user profile to create or delete. If you remove the app or clear its storage, your library cannot be recovered from our servers—we do not keep one.
LingoCam AI 不要求注册、登录或第三方账号。我们也没有云端用户资料可供创建或删除。若你删除应用或清除本地存储，卡库无法从我们的服务器恢复——我们并不保存云端备份。

The following stay on your device unless you explicitly export or share them:

- Scene card photos, titles, example sentences, explanations, focus words, and learning progress

- Personal text notes you attach to a card (processed on-device; not sent to our AI)
- 你为卡片添加的个人文字笔记（仅在本机处理，不会发送给我们的 AI）
- Optional saved scene-dialogue sessions and related audio files you choose to keep
- 你选择保存的场景对话会话及相关音频文件
- App preferences such as languages and TTS voice choices

4. Cloud AI processing (ephemeral)

Some features send content to our thin API proxy so a cloud model can respond. Processing is for the request only; we do not operate a business database of your photos, cards, or chat history.
部分功能会通过我们的薄代理 API 将内容发送给云端模型以生成结果。处理仅服务于当次请求；我们不会把你的照片、卡片或对话历史写入业务数据库。
- Scene recognition: a photo you capture or pick is sent so the model can return a title, sentence, explanation, focus lemmas, and noun hints.
- 场景识别：你拍摄或从相册选取的照片会被发送，以便模型返回标题、例句、场景解释、重点词与名词提示。
- Scene Forge: selected words (and related generation requests) are sent to create a new forged scene card.
- 选词造景：你选择的词语及相关生成请求会被发送，用于生成新的造景卡。
- Scene dialogue: the text you send (with scene context needed for the reply) is forwarded to the model. Dialogue uses your AI scan quota.
- 场景对话：你发送的文本（及回复所需的场景上下文）会转发给模型。对话会消耗 AI 识别额度。
After the response is returned to your device, request payloads are not retained as a user content archive. Operational logs, if any, are for reliability and abuse prevention and are not a photo or card library.
结果返回设备后，请求内容不会作为用户内容档案长期保存。如有运维日志，仅用于服务稳定性与防滥用，不会作为照片或卡库。
5. Optional Photos export

If you tap save-to-Photos, the currently visible card face is written to your Apple Photos library on your device. We do not upload that export to our servers.
若你点击保存到相册，当前可见的卡面会写入本机的 Apple 照片图库。我们不会把该导出上传到我们的服务器。

Subscriptions and restores are handled by Apple through StoreKit / App Store. We receive entitlement status needed to unlock Pro features; we do not receive your full payment card details.

7. On-device speech features

Reading aloud uses Apple’s on-device text-to-speech. Microphone and speech recognition may be used for dictating notes or scene dialogue input; those system APIs process speech according to Apple’s policies. LingoCam AI does not provide a separate cloud pronunciation-scoring service.
朗读使用 Apple 本机文本转语音。麦克风与语音识别可能用于笔记听写或场景对话输入；相关系统 API 按 Apple 的政策处理语音。LingoCam AI 不提供单独的云端发音评分服务。
8. Third parties

Depending on your region, AI requests are forwarded to model providers such as Google Gemini (international path via our Firebase-hosted functions) or Alibaba Qwen / DashScope (China path). Hosting for these legal pages may use Firebase Hosting (international) or our China mirror. Apple provides App Store commerce, Photos, camera, and speech frameworks. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs in the app to build marketing profiles.

- Motion — optional shake feedback while a new photo develops

The app is intended for general language learning. Do not use it to upload images of others without appropriate permission. If you believe a child has provided data in a way that concerns you, contact us and we will help within the limits of an account-free, local-first product.
本应用面向一般语言学习场景。请勿在未经适当许可的情况下上传他人影像。若你认为儿童以令你担忧的方式提供了数据，请联系我们；在无账号、数据以本机为主的产品形态下，我们会尽力协助。

We may update this policy as the product evolves. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
